Most Common Copper Alloys Used in Precision Machining

  • Brass (CuZn39Pb3, CuZn40Pb2): Excellent machinability, widely used in plumbing and connectors.
  • Bronze (CuSn12, CuAl10Fe5Ni5): Wear resistance, good performance in saline or abrasive environments.
  • Pure Copper (Cu-ETP, Cu-OFE): Maximum conductivity, ideal for electrical and electronic applications.
