Since its inception, MEUNIDEC has always been driven by the desire to serve its customers and support their development. As part of our continuous improvement process, we have identified that in the medium term, our current premises will no longer be adapted to the challenges of the future, both industrially and environmentally.

We are therefore pleased to inform you that we have just completed the first stage of a project started in 2022 with the acquisition of a new production site located in Cluses, approximately 6 km from our current site. This transition will mark a new important step in the evolution of our company and will strengthen our ability to serve our customers with even greater efficiency and quality.

 

We are now starting the second stage of our project, which aims to adapt this building to our activities. The move is scheduled for December 2024, and we are already working actively to ensure a smooth transition without interrupting our activities. We are convinced that this move will contribute to strengthening our market position and improving our competitiveness. It also demonstrates our commitment to innovation, growth and sustainable development.

We will keep you regularly informed of the developments related to this move, including logistical details and any organizational changes that may result. Our top priority is to ensure that this transition takes place as smoothly as possible and under the best possible conditions for all of our employees.

We are currently in the final phase of restarting our remaining production capacity.
However, some machines had to be replaced, as the extent of the repairs required or the obsolescence of certain components made it impossible to bring them back into compliance.
Thanks to the responsiveness of our partners, we have already replaced a 3D control machine and a CNC lathe.
 
These new equipments are already fully operational. This proactive approach strengthens our commitment to upholding high standards of quality and efficiency in our operations.

Fifteen days after the weather conditions that impacted one of our production sites, the cleaning team has been making effective progress since the beginning of their intervention. The efforts deployed by the on-site teams, with the support of MEUNIDEC’s team, have been remarkable.

We are unable to provide you the precise date of resumption of activities. We understand that this may create uncertainties, but rest assured that our teams are diligently working towards this goal.

Currently, the first machines are undergoing restart procedures. This is a significant step towards a complete resumption of our operational activities.
